“Transforming lives through the power of canine connections. We conduct innovative research, provide essential education and create partnerships to serve both the canine community and people.”
How You Can Help
Volunteer
Volunteers play a key part in our programs. From taking service dogs in training to our School Reading Program, to helping out at fundraisers, our volunteer team carries out extremely valuable work in the community.
It takes over a year to train a reliable service dog. Our comprehensive training process incurs costs for food, veterinary care and training equipment. Your generous donations help to make our programs a reality for people who truly need them.
Creating connections with other organizations helps us to bring our programs into the community. We love working with enthusiastic, like-minded organizations who want to make a positive difference to the world around them.
Highland Canine Connect is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works with the community to create fulfilling and engaging connections between dogs and people in need. We offer a number of canine related programs throughout the community and hope that with your support, we will be able to expand these programs and offer new ones in the near future!

Our school reading program combines dogs and reading for children who may have difficulty reading. We have seen tremendous success with this program and we hope to expand to more schools soon!
We donate fully-trained service dogs to individuals who need a canine companion to help with activities in their daily lives. The benefits of a well-trained service dog are endless and our goal is to help place them with those in need.
Support for our nation’s law enforcement and military has always been at the forefront of our efforts. We continue to support them with our working dog donations for those departments with limited budgets.
